Proprietor: Ellen Windsor - former Principal of the firm of Ellen Windsor Solicitor -

one of youngest Partners published in Legal 500 in 1995; finalist for Birmingham Law Society Awards in the category of International Lawyer of the Year in 2011


Ellen Windsor: admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales and Hong Kong in 1988;

1988 - 1990: work experience in London and Hong Kong;

1990 - 1995: Associate Partner of Wragge & Co, Birmingham;

1995 -1997: Partner of Irwin Mitchell, a national law firm; work includes a successful appeal in the Privy Council before the Law Lords, involving the U.S., Hong Kong and UK jurisdictions;

1999-2001: consultancy work for a multi-national European company;

1998 - 2016: Principal of the firm of Ellen Windsor Solicitor for 18 years with a no claim record for work carried out for clients, including 3 reported successful landmark court decisions through the firm in the law of tort for paternity deceit:


2001: P v. B, 1 FLR, 1041;

2007: A v. B, AER (D) 49 (Apr);

2015: X v. Y, 2015 Central London County Court at the Royal Courts of Justice claim no. 3MY 50311 as widely published in the UK and Spanish media including an interview on the BBC News Channel on 20 March 2015.


2016: Ellen Windsor now a non-practising Solicitor continues to offer legal services and support to clients under the Legal Services Act with more autonomy and flexibility to suit clients' needs in business and law.

2017:  Ellen Windsor in conjunction with the exprtise of London Barrister, Abimbola Badejo, succeeded in achieving a unique settlement with an admission of liability of paternity deceit in the case of C v. W, Lincoln County Court on 19 July 2017, including payment from the Defendant at a record level in damages, together with costs to be assessed.
Ellen Windsor speaks fluent English and Chinese, some French, Spanish and Swiss German. She has considerable experience in international work including advice on court proceedings, business and employment contracts, acting as an intermediary based on her global connections and specialisms, including Solicitors' firms and Direct Access Barristers and other leading Barristers Chambers in UK.
Qualifications: St. Mary's Canossian College (HK); LL.B (London); LL.M (Warwick)(pending).
